Contributions are accepted in the form of autopsy and clinical case reports, reviews and systematic reviews, short communications, and original articles.

The journal is directed at health professionals regardless of their specialty or acting field in the health sciences. Particular focus is given to the medical community as a way to state Autopsy and Case Reports Editorial Board's belief that case reports, which have become progressively discredited by the majority of medical journals, do represent an invaluable opportunity as a resource for knowledge expansion and teaching purposes to both, novice and senior health professionals.
