Thamnodynastes almae sp. nov. is described based on three specimens from Rodelas Municipality, state of Bahia, Northeastern Brazil. The new species can be diagnosed by its pale coloration and keeled dorsal scales arranged in 19 rows at midbody and 15 rows posteriorly. Characters for distinguishing T. almae from other Brazilian species of Thamnodynastes are provided.Downloads
