Author Biography

• Divanize Carbonieri, Federal University of Mato Grosso
  Divanize Carbonieri is Associate Professor in the Languages Department at the Federal University of Mato Grosso. She has co-edited three books of essays focusing on critical literacy and gender studies, authored a book titled A compensação da imobilidade em Nuruddin Farah (2013), and translated various texts into Portuguese including Mohandas Gandhi’s Hind Swaraj: Indian home rule (2010), and some poems of 100 Great Indian poems (100 Grandes poemas da Índia, 2018). She is also a poet and was awarded with the Prêmio Mato Grosso de Literatura for her collection Entraves (2017), besides being one of the selected authors in the Edital de Fomento à Cultura de Cuiabá with her collection Grande depósito de bugigangas (2018). She was one of the finalists of the Prêmio Off Flip 2018 and the Concurso Lamparina Pública 2016, both for poetry.
