Abstract

Mark O’Halloran is known as one of the most prominent writers and actors in Ireland’s national cinema and theater. He has appeared in films that are widely recognized by scholars, such as Adam & Paul (2004) and Garage (2007), both directed by Lenny Abrahamson and written by O’Halloran himself. In this sense, this interview, conducted online during the COVID-19 Pandemic, aims at presenting details regarding his creative process and his views on the recent development of the Irish indigenous cinema.
