Abstract

This article focuses the territorial proximity between the two rivers referred in the title, as creator of strong reciprocal influences since the biblical times to our days. The approach of the present time is made following the geography of the conflicts and according to the socioeconomic actions of the countries that compose the area, detaching strategic areas as frontiers, narrow and channels of passage, great resources.
