Abstract

The life and work of Castro Soromenho as it is reflected in his status as a professor, at the University of Wisconsin (December 1960 to June 1961) and through the testimonies of his friends and his widow Dona Mercedes, like an important element to trace the personality of writer, are the fulcrum points of this communication.
