Abstract

The article presents an overview about the conflicts in the Brazilian countryside, dialoguing with the conception of Conservation Units (UC) existing in Brazil. Thus, we can understand the contradictory divergences between the struggle for land and the Conservation Units, which are guided by different understandings, that, sometimes, transgress the history and the Brazilian territorial organization; resulting that the disputes and the conflicts in fact, be aggravated, especially, by the fact that there is a historical agrarian irregularity, especially, in the National Parks –UC of Integral Protection, which according to the National System of Conservation Units (Snuc) should be in possession and control of the Union. In this context, is presented the official data about the agrarian irregularities of these UCs, and the existing divergences in authoritarian public politics, which represent different discourses and interests that exacerbate territorial and environmental management in thecountry, followed by an imminent agrarian counter-reform in Brazil.
