From the reading of Guillermo Zermeño "History, Experience and Modernity in Portuguese and Spanish America, 1750-1850", this article discusses some methodological aspects of conceptual history. The concepts of history and modernity are analyzed for the period between 1750 and 1850. The article also focuses on the relations between conceptual and socio-political history.Downloads
