Constructing identities: The collective identities politization process in Minas Gerais, from 1792 to 1831

Following the recent historiographic tendency, that revisits the national problem, this research focuses on the links between State, Nation and Identity, in Minas Gerais, from 1792 to 1831. Specifically, it searches to unmask the political identities behavior that coexisted in this transition process, leading the elites actions and alternatives projects of future and prescribing the possibilities of negotiation and conflict between the various groups engaged in the national union construction.Downloads
