Glacial striae and friction cracks (crescentic fractures, and lunate fractures or crescentic grooves) on a Precambrian granitic basement overlain by diamictites and shale of the Rio do Sul Formation are described from a road cut near Alfredo Wagner, central-south Santa Catarina State.
