The São Roque Geological Sheet was mapped and it is here presented at a scale of 1:100.000. This note describes the stratigraphy, lithology, strutures, geomorphology and mineral resources of the area. The major events of metamorphism, magmatism and deformation are also sumarized and the poliphasic geological evolution during the Brasiliano Cycle (750 - 450 m.y.) is presented.
