This paper is situated at the interface between the field of anthropology of emotions, the constructivist perspective of sexuality and interactionist sociology. It is proposed to examine the emotional grammars and the micropolitics of emotions that accompany the partial processes of control and exposure of self-information among young university students who identify as bisexual and live in Rio de Janeiro. Attention is paid to the situational frameworks described by young people, such as the behavioural and affective aspects instilled in social interaction. The reports are composed of affective experiences present in social interactions in which young people present themselves as bisexual to their interlocutors.
