Abstract

This article provides an approach to the field of conservation and sustainable development in the north of Misiones. The centerpiece is the ways in which environmental agencies face projections and interventions conservation in buffer zones of Protected Natural Areas. The first characterizes the departments of General Manuel Belgrano Iguaçu and the beginnings of the formation of environmental governance. It then describes the main projects for the conservation and sustainable development stimulated by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and AECI (Spanish Agency for International Development). Specifically, the key features of "Project Cabureí" (JICA) and the designs produced by Araucaria XXI (AECI). For the signal., Problem sets considerations applicants who meet the local communities and environmental agencies.
