Abstract

This paperdescribesthe everydayscenesof young boysandmenboth inside andarounda soccer fieldinCatingueira-PB. In it, I call attention tothe stadiumas an importantstage for thestaging oflife; thenI point thesoccer associalpolicy spaceof occupation; laterI emphasizethe passion foramateur soccer, showingitas an elementthat reproducesa national preference; below,I showthefieldas showcase forthe talentsrevelation, becausethe townspeoplesurveyedbelievein the giftbornto football; following this,before thefinal word, in whichI will presentsome of the findingsof this article, I will tella littleofthe organizationtoa smallboys'soccermatcharound the edgesof the field.
