The evolution of concentration of sugar and alcohol agroindustries and companies of centre-south of Brazil, between 1999/00 and 2007/08, had been analised. The participation of the four bigger producers (CR4) as the index Hirchman-Herfindahl (HH) showed that, in the case of agro-industry or productive plants, it falls in the concentration level and, in the case of companies, it increases of the concentration.Downloads
