Das migrações nordestinas às referências culturais na embaixada fluminense: festas populares, entretenimento e celebração entre o rural e o urbano

Abstract

From the discussions about the representations of the diversity that forms the meanings of "being Northeastern", it is unique to deconstruct the narrative that inflates the idea of regionalisms and even Northeasternness, which at the same time reflects identity aspects that narrate preponderant factors of the Northeastern imaginary in the trips that subjects and groups made towards currently consecrated territories of states and groups. From the identity formations, many groups are protagonists of significant cultural references for the locality, as is the case of the Baixada Fluminense, composed of a large contingent of northeasterners and their descendants. These identities end up carrying tensions between what identifies them in the group and what distances them from the essentialization, often transmuted of prejudices and segregations, not as dichotomies, but as transformation or even cultural dynamism. For Woodward (2003), identity is relational, demanding, material and self-affirming. And in the case of Northeastern identity, in the perspective of Borges (2007, p.21), "there is not only one Northeastern culture, but several, as these are not homogeneous and each State has its culturais particularities". For Borges (2007) there is a deconstruction and reconstruction of identity, in which the meanings of oneself, the meanings about oneself and the meanings given to oneself are opposed, taking into account resistances, networks of relationships, customs, attitudes, behaviors and their respective origins and representations. Regarding representations, Chartier (1990) considers them as discourses, loaded with meanings that produce inductive strategies and practices. Thus, this article aims to deal with festive practices as materialities of group identification in the Baixada Fluminense through bibliographic and qualitative reference, through interviews of gang groups and their June festive universe. As a result, it is intended to understand relevant representations for the June community and for society in general, especially in rural and urban areas in the relations of representativeness.
