Abstract

This article aim is the understanding of the educative and union experience of the Metalworkers' Union of ABC paulista (SMABC) and its relation to the union strategies developed by it , in the period of 1999-2009. This analysis is included in the reflection on the unionism challenges in the period, proposing a perspective of the debate that inspires this union political action.
