Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to recover or to make up for the meaning of Chacaras and Garden´s Magazine as well as the importance of this editor Amadeu Amadei Barbellini - Count of Barbellini - to the history of Brazil´s rural communication. Rural communication is both techno-scientific popularization of agribusiness and educative technical support for rural subjects connected to the agriculture production´s human factor that in Brazil began  to be developed, in a more systematized way, by the government agencies of technical support, after Second World War.
