Tradução e estudo do primeiro capítulo de Leucipe e Clitofonte

Resumo: Este artigo apresenta uma tradução e um estudo do primeiro capítulo do romance Leucipe e Clitofonte, de Aquiles Tácio. O estudo visa discutir algumas escolhas adotadas na tradução. O capítulo inicial de Leucipe e Clitofonte pode ser lido e interpretado à parte da narrativa principal, pois funciona como um preâmbulo para o enredo. Nele, um narrador anônimo compõe duas ekphráseis. Para discutir a tradução proposta, o estudo explora a construção textual do capítulo, lançando luz aos elementos, temas e técnicas utilizados, conferindo destaque à elaboração das paisagens contidas nas ekphráseis. O artigo foi dividido em três seções. A primeira introduz a obra, seu autor e contexto histórico. Na segunda, estão dispostos o texto grego e a tradução. A última seção é dedicada ao estudo do trecho.
