Abstract

Through an analysis of the relationship between verbal and visual texts into the book "Little Blue and Little Yellow" by Leo Lionni (2011), this article's objective is to establish an intermediate study of this work, trying to comprehend, mainly, the role of the color inside this narrative spectrum, giving it a relevance in relation with the story and expanding its possibilities of meanings. For this, the function of the color will be considered a character, incorporating its specificities into the creation of a mixmidia text, whose signs starts to have a meaning when read together, without having any subordination between the words and color-image.

Atualmente é mestranda no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Literatura e Crítica Literária da PUC-SP, com pesquisa na área das cores nos livros ilustrados.
