Demand-driven training and job turnover: the effects of Brazil’s Pronatec-MDIC at firm and worker level

Resumo

Este artigo estuda o impacto de um programa de treinamento solicitado pelas empresas na rotatividade de empresas e trabalhadores. O modelo de diferenças-em-diferenças mostra que a aprovação do curso está associada a uma maior rotatividade no curto prazo, sugerindo que as empresas levam tempo em ajustar seu estoque de trabalhadores após o curso. As estimativas sugerem que os trabalhadores que concluem o treinamento têm uma taxa reduzida de desligamento do empregador e um tempo no emprego mais longo. Os trabalhadores que se desligam do empregador após concluírem o treinamento encontram um novo emprego em um ritmo mais rápido.
