As interações entre crescimento econômico e inovação nos países da OCDE: uma abordagem com modelagem PVAR

Resumo

A inovação é um fator fundamental para o crescimento econômico dentro da teoria do crescimento endógeno. O objetivo é avaliar os efeitos de choques em variáveis relacionadas com a produção de tecnologia sobre a produção de conhecimento e a renda per capita nos países da OCDE em 1980-2017. Utiliza-se o método Panel Data Vector Autoregressive (PVAR). Um choque favorável no estoque de ideias, capital físico e gastos em P&D nos países da OCDE provocam efeitos positivos sobre o PIB per capita. A variável spillover mostra que as economias da OCDE podem se beneficiar de um processo de difusão de tecnologia.
