Abstract

This paper analyses the impacts of the
Brazilian trade liberalization on industrial production. It discusses the hypothesis that a structural change - in the sense of a new combination ofimported, domestic and labor inputs - has occurred on the production function ofsome Sao Paulo industries due to the important changes trade policy has gone through since the early ninities.
