Abstract

Confronted by the disillusion of parental references, the adolescent subject finds himself before a task of changing address, moving from family ties to social ties. Adolescent writing expresses this ambiguity between singular and collective, between public and private, between one’s own body and the look of others. The building of the text reveals a graphic originality through the use of a multitude of resources, such as pasted items, folded papers, drawings. Although hybrid, the text is a result of a composition of writing and image. This article thus deals with an attempt at interpreting the elements which compose the hybrid essence of the writing, from the lacanian concept of letter, highlighting the value of the image as a strategy of reconstitution of the outlines of the body.
