Abstract

The idea is to verify the psychosocial problem that inflicts the public transport user in the city of São Paulo. The urban space seen as a receptacle of the diversity of social classes and has, in the property of the land, its contribution of manifestation of differences. A context that triggers suffering: the individual enhances the sense of vulnerability, showing a weakened social structure. The issue of urban mobility being based on effective public policies, or rather, in their absence, rooting the construction of a daily deficit. The psychosocial factor being worked on comes from the way the state deals with it: inhabitants of places labeled "far away," permeated by ever derogatory stigmas. It is a large population that lives in a state of exception.

  • Isaac Vitório Correia Ferraz, Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP)

    PhD in Social Psychology with an area of ​​concentration in Political Psychology and Master in Social Sciences with an area of ​​contraction in Sociology, both from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, and a Bachelor of History from the State University of Southwest of Bahia.
