"L’idée de ces Mélanges me fut venue lorsque j’appris avec beaucoup de tristesse le départ en retraite de Francis Wolff, à la fin de l’année 2014.
Mon maître devenu ami quittait l’Ens, ses élèves, ses collègues et ses murs, lui qui m’avait tant appris, lui sans lequel je ne serais pas celle que je suis.
Succédant à la tristesse me vint l’idée des Mélanges donc : offrir un livre à Francis pour le remercier, et lui dire ma reconnaissance et mon amitié. J’en parlai à mon amie Julie, et l’aventure commença."
