The poet called Tibullus lived during the Augustan age, when the elegy poets reached its aim. In his verses, he celebrated two unfaithful women (Tibullus was passionately fond of them). Athogh we have not any biographical data about him, it is possible to sindy his life trajectory using as source his poems, where Tibullus revcal all his ambitions and disappointments, showing at the same time a view of the Roman societyDownloads
