The work is about a trip I underlook lo Campina Grande, a city of Paraiba, a state of North-East of Brazil, in 1982, and my meeting with 'Tereza, an extraordinary woman, responsable for the settlement of many miserable families in the prosperous region of Lagoa Nova. Her story was told me by Ismerina, an old placewoman of Tereza’s family, no more alive
