This article intends to analyze the books Sonhos de Robô (1991) and Máquinas Como Eu e Gente Como Você (2019) by Asimov and McEwan, respectively, showing the points of contact between them and discussing ethical and moral issues present in both. masterpieces. The proposed discussion was motivated by the technological advance of the machines that surround us and the relationship they establish with human beings and that are discussed in the literature through genres such as science fiction and its subgenres.
