A ideia de realizar uma anatomia de Roberto Schwarz surgiu a partir da constatação de que sua obra crítica, cada vez mais conhecida e influente mundo afora, é via de regra abordada e comentada segundo pressupostos teóricos e práticas de escrita avessas ao seu espírito. (A própria forma artigo já dá testemunho disso.) Ao se abordar o modo de funcionamento, mais do que o conteúdo conceitual, o objetivo é o de facilitar a transmissão de um pensamento que no fundo não se dá muito bem com o mero rigor analítico, como provam os pepinos aqui discutidos.
