Augusto Boal, the best known and studied Brazilian theater man all around the world, inherits and develops the agitprop theater tradition both in terms of dramaturgy and as a director, as well as in the field of politics properly. This essay tries to identify the most visible links between his works and the tradition of agitprop theater.
