Abstract

Our purpose was to study the construction of the myth-Pessoa
based on a theoretical reasoning, with an emphasis on the author’s correspondence, specially the famous “Letter on the genesis of heteronyms.” We speculate about how the writer deals with the notion of genius and its implications on the aesthetic-literary projects formulated.
