Abstract

This text exposes conclusions obtained during the realization of the “Study on a repetition poetics: Frauta de Barro, by Luiz Bacellar” (1928-2012), Amazonian poet, member of the most important cultural movement in Amazonas in the 20th century, the Clube da Madrugada. In this research, we seek to understand what meanings there would be in the gesture of re-editing a work, his main work Frauta de barro, always in difference, since it had seven editions, all with significant variations. During the study, we analyzed aspects that structure Bacellar's work, such as his literary and artistic sources, the poetic styles revisited in the poems and the contents of popular culture that circulated from the public (and popular) spaces of enunciation for the work. It is curious that, even with so many sources verified as structuring of Frauta de Barro, its author did not leave traces of creation - understood in documentary terms: prototexts, manuscripts, drafts, outlines etc. However, we will defend the idea that, for a work in these circumstances, the backstage of creation must be traced beyond the usual process documents. Thus, we will list the sources that our studies found in the field of cultural production of a popular nature that served as the basis of the composition of Frauta de Barro (popular stories, cordel, spaces and community practices, etc.). Then, we will consider the degree of insertion and the relationships that these contents came to have for the understanding of the work and for its creation process.
