This is an article written by a group of researchers, based on the exchanges and interactions held between the members of the Research Group on Creative Processes at PUC-São Paulo, in the light of their individual educational practices, which leads us to realize how the critical theory on creative processes feeds and is fed by these experiences. This text presents reports of a critical nature that come from different areas of formal education (Schools, Departments of Education and Universities) and non-formal education (educational centers in art exhibitions, courses and workshops in cultural institutions). The main contribution of this mapping effort that positions educational practices at the intersection with the large field of creation processes lies in its plurality and in the interweaving points it establishes (nodes of the creation network as a Group) — these nodal conclusions are brought as a result in the end of the text. This article also intends to highlight and reflect on how the confluence of education and creation processes, which have always been intertwined, may be an asset to more humane educational practices, plural and abundant in resources and possibilities, that would be able face some of the contemporary challenges.
