Network dance: creative procedure as a complex system of language and(in) education

Abstract

With the aim of highlighting the complexity in the creative process of a video choreography, the article entitled Networked dance: the creative procedure as a complex system of language and(in) education is built on the analysis of the relationships between the body and technological mediations of communication. By considering the audiovisual work and its multidimensional nature, the text references the pedagogical processes involved in/for artistic creation by basing itself on the understanding of the subject-environment interrelationship and dialoguing with the assumptions of the epistemology of complexity postulated by Edgar Morin. The methodology, based on Process Criticism as proposed by Cecilia de Almeida Salles, analyzes the creative procedure through the examination of drafts, photographs, notebooks and diaries, as well as complex relationships that permeate the elements of the creative process. The artistic work analyzed points to a transdisciplinary approach, whose path extends from word to gesture, from body to video, from presence to transmission, recording and editing, and from the voice lent to bodie, through the sharing of individualities. From the video choreography, constructed with videographic technological mediation, complex relationships emerge between bodies, languages – ​​and interactive movements – that highlight the emergence of educational implications of/in the artistic compositional method.
