An Introduction to the Studies of Strabo’s Geography

This article aims to provide a summary of all tha t is written about one of the most complete written documents that had came to us, Strabo’s Geo graphy. The goal is tried to present certain import ant information about this source, such as the manuscri pt's history and editions and translations availabl e. Furthermore I will present some of the studies that researchers from various nationalities have done, including Brazil. Finishing, I will indicate briefl y my proposal of work that should result in my diss ertation, which involves Strabo and his relationship with the Iberian Peninsula.
