In this interview granted to Matrizes journal, arranged shortly after he received the title of Professor Emeritus from ECA/USP in September 2025, Kossoy revisits aspects of his intellectual trajectory and comments on shifts in the way he understands photography. Envisioning new forays into the valley where the real and the fantastic coexist, which he observes as the path of his work, the researcher points to ongoing transformations that challenge the very nature of photography.
