Fanzines on the skin: the emergence of new media intersections, between tattoo and sequential art

The objective of this preliminary research is to investigate the point of convergence between tattooing as an artistic practice and sequential art, using an artistic performance as an example of this artistic union. The focus is to discover new forms of narratives that can be transferred to the skin, drawing inspiration from typical elements of sequential arts — including comics, fanzines, comics and post-comics. By combining these artistic currents, the aim is to create new artistic genres.
