Abstract

This article approaches a set of interactional practices developed on Twitter by viewers of the soap opera “Avenida Brasil” (Rede Globo, 2012). Thus, I propose a reading about the process of mutual interaction between TV and digital media, specifically regarding types of appropriation of the microblogging as interaction between the audiences during the viewing of the soap opera. Supported by empirical research, I seek to characterize and analyze the conversations generated by “Avenida” on the platform, experience from which I raise the hypothesis that the emergence of practices / interactional processes rearticulate mediations between telefiction producers and receivers, without necessarily pluralize the culture media entertainment .
