Abstract

Characterized by the questioning of any type of view adopted automatically and imposed by habit, Guimarães Rosa's works can be seen as a space of reflection, in which diverse and sometimes even contradictory elements coexist in a constant tension. It is a work in which the bases of Brazilian literary traditions are reconsidered and the reader is induced to search for a kind of reconfiguration of narrative discourse. The traditional dichotomic logic based on excluding pairs is put into check and is replaced by a different logic of an inclusive sort that replaces any kind of hierarchy in defense of the acceptance of difference and diversity.
