Abstract

The objective of this article is to understand the peculiar processes of the emerge of new cities. Cities the resulte from the expansion of the frontier economic hinterland of Brazil in areas related to cerrado landscape. This study examines two villages, two embryos of future cities, located in the western Bahia.
