The objective of this work is to analyze aspects of transformations and constraints typologies present in the urban landscape of the Jundiaí region situated on the banks of the Don Highway Gabriel P. B. Couto
and John Cereser nearby serra do Japi. From conceptualization Magnoli (1982) open spaces and through the analysis of information of various kinds such as urban laws, aerial photographs and site visits, we can
say that Jundiai city polo Crowded Urban Jundiaí (UKA), characterized by the presence of large areas of environmental protection, such as Sierra Japi, and watershed conservation areas, preventing urban sprawl
to the south or east vectors, favoring the growth of urban form towards northwest and west. Due to its location, in the interstitial space between the metropolitan areas of São Paulo, Campinas and Sorocaba
Urban Cluster (AUS), the city grapples with diverse socioeconomic influences arising from the process and spatial metropolization typical macro-metropolis São Paulo. Thus, the areas of environmental preservation, presence of non-urban spaces of large proportions and synergy in Jundiaí with network cities of conurbations have become the main agents of change in urban landscape that territory.
