Abstract

This article intends to propose instructions to projects, that contribute with the spacial accessibility to the old aged people in urban free areas. For this it was counted on the application of the method of accompanied walks, with five aged ones with restrictions to the use of the spaces. This method made possible the comment of the behavior of the aged ones in free areas that used to frequent and collect critical suggestions and about the characteristics of the spaces and the furniture. To the end of the article project lines of direction are presented, classified as the four components of space accessibility: orientation/information, displacement, use and communication.
