Resumen

Paidéia, maintaining its tradition as a pioneer in disseminating scientific knowledge on Psychology in Brazil, published in 2023 a thematic dossier entitled “Methodological Challenges in Psychology: Contributions to Practice and Academic Knowledge.” The initiative sought to stimulate reflection and discussions on the methodological challenges of knowledge production in Psychology. Its thematic choice is justified by the relevance of producing material that broadens the methodological knowledge of future generations of researchers. Brazil still produces few handbooks dedicated to guiding methodological decisions that contribute to the robustness of studies conducted in the various Psychology subfields. Paidéia’s high citation rate of methodological articles should also be considered, as this emphasizes the need to provide quality texts to fill the gaps in the process of training new researchers.
