Empregabilidade de Trabalhadores mais Velhos: Uma Revisão de Escopo Internacional

Resumo

A empregabilidade compreende a busca e a manutenção do emprego, levando-se em conta elementos individuais, organizacionais e governamentais. Quando a empregabilidade é associada ao envelhecimento surgem questões ambivalentes: por um lado há uma escassez de mão de obra; por outro há poucos empregos disponíveis para trabalhadores mais velhos. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar como a literatura aborda a empregabilidade dos mais velhos e seus respectivos preditores. Seguindo o PRISMA-ScR, foram identificados 100 artigos na base de dados e selecionados 47 para a revisão. Os resultados indicaram que os preditores mais estudados foram idade, saúde, desenvolvimento profissional e os vínculos com o trabalho. Esta temática tem sido abordada nos âmbitos individual e organizacional, com escassez de análises no âmbito governamental. Destaca-se a necessidade de pesquisas sobre a temática, especialmente nos países latino-americanos, pouco representados na literatura atual.
