Difficulties in teacher/student relationship: a challenge to be overcome

Teacher-student relationship is a subject that is investigated using different methodological strategies. This essay is about the teacher/student relationship under the view of actors who participate in the teaching and learning process, and the focus are the professors and students of one 8th grade class, in a state school in the region of Londrina, Paraná, who answered to a questionnaire of open questions. A comparative study of the data collected from the two groups of participants shows moments of tension and adaptation among them, which build and rebuild knowledge and life experiences that will expose values and ways of living. The striving for the survival of the target objects of the school, the learning and the knowledge, is of everyone's interest who, aware of it or not, takes part in the process of searching for a nice living and growing way.Downloads
