Fontes de informação sobre o cultivo de mexilhão perna perna (Linnaeus, 1758) em Florianópolis (1986 - 1996)

Abstract

This paper presents research on specialized information sources in mariculture. The general objective is to research the documentary typologies generated in the actions for implantation and development of the cultivation of Perna Perna mussels in the Florianópolis, from 1986 to 1996. The specific objectives are: to discuss the theme of specialized information sources the scope of mariculture; conduct a documentary research on teaching, research and extension activities aimed at the cultivation of Perna Perna mussels between 1986 and 1996 at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC); to propose a guide to specialized information sources on the cultivation of Perna Perna mussels in Florianópolis. From a methodological point of view, the research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive and the approach to the problem is quali-quantitative. The technical procedures adopted are bibliographic and documentary research. As a result, it is expected to map and diagnose the documentary typologies generated in the actions to implant and develop the cultivation of this type of mussel in the Florianópolis in the period from 1986 to 1996. In addition, it is expected to create subsidies for a discussion on the thematic “specialized information sources” in the field of mariculture.
