Abstract

This article aims to explore the process of organizing the information of the cassette record collection belonging to the researcher and composer Marlui Miranda. The content of the tapes consists of musical recordings and rituals, as well as interviews, soundtracks, musical selections, radio programs, conferences and plays - all related to the indigenous culture. It was tried to organize the collection so that the needs of the researcher were met and, at the same time, the norms respected. The methodological procedure consisted of data collection, elaboration of graphs and analysis of the informational fields, besides literature review and consequent articulation of expensive concepts to the research. As a result, a variety of Marlui Miranda tapes are organized and systematized in a particular database, allowing for reflections on the treatment of the information of said culture.
