O Papel das TICs na Mediação Cultural em Museus: Museomix no Circuito Cultural Liberdade
Abstract
Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are increasingly organic in life in society and are part of museums' cultural mediation strategies. They democratize public access to collections, add layers of content to them, stimulate sensory experiences and creative actions. Considering these aspects, the present study assumes that ICTs, when integrating the mediation strategies of museums, favor the participation of audiences and collaboration in museological activities. The research involves conducting interviews with participants in the Museomix marathon, aimed at developing cultural mediation prototypes for museums. This marathon was held at the Liberdade Cultural Circuit, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, bringing together various cultural institutions. As a result of the research, some analytical indicators of cultural mediation were defined. They are Paidia, spontaneous game that favors purposeful and non-linear mediations, Poiesis, creative action that stimulates re-reading and remixing of the collections, and Methexis, which refers to the articulation of multiple voices and shared narratives, in the museal environments.
