Emergency plan in archives: approach from the perspective of the archivist's competence in Santa Catarina

Abstract

It exposes ongoing research that addresses emergency plans in archives in the context of the competence of the archivist information professional. The general objective of the study is to characterize the emergency plans in archives within the competence of the archivist information professional, in Santa Catarina. Specifically, it proposes to: Analyze scientific publications related to emergency plans in archives and professional competence of the archivist in the period from 2013 to 2019; Map disaster risks of the nine archives located in the cities of Florianópolis, São José and Palhoça, registered in the Cadastro Nacional de Entidades Custodiadoras de Acervos Arquivísticos (CODEARQ); Identify the professional competence profile of the archivist within the scope of the emergency plan on archives. It is characterized as a theoretical-applied, quali-quantitative, exploratory, bibliographic, documentary and field research. It is expected as a result: Basic bibliographies of disaster management in archives made available by international and national government agencies; Scientific productions, authors and focuses on thematic emergency plans in archives and the competence of the archivist in the time frame 2013 - 2019; Disaster risk mapping of nine Santa Catarina files registered with CODEARQ; Analysis of the data obtained in the risk mapping; Competence profile of the archivist to act in disaster management in archives.

Author Biographies

  • Carlos Alberto Rodrigues, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

    Master's student of the Post-Graduate Program in Information Science at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Academician of the 7th phase of Archivology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, has a graduate in Building Construction Technology from the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (2014) and technician in work safety by the Fundação Escola Técnica Liberato Salzano Vieira da Cunha. Currently, he is part of the administrative technical staff of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (position of occupational safety technician), where he has already served as head of the Occupational Health and Safety Division and director of the Health Care Department. He has extensive experience in area of ​​worker safety in industries, where he worked with a focus on the formation and monitoring of Accident Prevention Commissions (CIPA), Fire Brigades and Environmental Risk Prevention Programs (PPRA). Member of the National Association for Research and Graduate Studies in Information Science (ANCIB).

Chief Editor of ÁGORA Magazine of the UFSC Archivology Course, (2018-) and participates in Councils and Editorial Board of Technical and Scientific Magazine. Leader of the Contemporary Archives Research and Studies Center - NUPEAC.
